Chronic inflammation of the gums signals to your body that there is an infection, and directs the body to use energy and infection-fighting agents to heal your gums. In addition, recent research has suggested that gum disease may be linked to other serious illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer. That’s why it is important, more than ever, to maintain healthy gums and teeth.

Roselle Park Dental now offers a breakthrough deep cleaning program for gum disease, called Soft Tissue Management (STM). Unlike other dentist offices that simply clean and polish people's teeth, our STM program focuses on eliminating tartar and plaque below the gumline and detoxifying root surfaces where the disease occurs.
