Dr. Jamie Oshidar grew up in Long Island, New York, where he attended high school and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Oshidar finished his formal education in May, 2002 when he graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After graduation from dental school, he served as a dental officer for three years in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Oshidar was stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas, during the war in Iraq. During his tour, he was committed to furthering his education, attending more than 400 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Oshidar is an active member of his community and is dedicated to philanthropic efforts. He is part of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the handicapped, in which he provides dental care to disadvantaged youth and the elderly. In January of 2009, Dr. Oshidar traveled to Chennai, India, with the Mission of Hope, providing charitable dental care to those in need.
Dr. Oshidar has shown a true passion for dentistry and a strong desire to advance his knowledge to provide the highest quality care for his patients. He has averaged nearly 100 hours of continuing education since he has become a dentist. In September of 2010, Dr. Oshidar received his fellowship in implant dentistry from the California implant institute. More than 250 hours of hands-on training has allowed Dr. Oshidar to provide even greater care to his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Oshidar enjoys spending time with his family and loved ones. He is an avid sports fan and likes to play softball, golf, soccer and football.

Dr. Irina Shapira received her post graduate training in periodontics at Columbia University in 1995. She completed a two-year fellowship in Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Shapira also teaches and is a clinical assistant professor in the department of Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. Since 1995, she has specialized in periodontics.

Dr. Ernest Rodriguez is a graduate of New Jersey Dental School in 1998 with a degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry. He then completed a two-year residency in general dentistry at VA medical center.
His undergraduate research was published in the Journal Endodontics. He is trained in the use of both hard and soft tissue lasers and is an Invisalign® certified provider.

Dr. Geoffrey Gonzales, our pediatric dentist, was born
and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Bachelor
of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas
in 2002. He went on to complete his dental training at
Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. After
dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency
at Coler-Goldwater in New York City. He then returned to
Tufts Dental for his post graduate training in pediatric dentistry.
While at Tufts, Dr. Gonzales also completed and presented
research in dental adhesive systems. He is an active member
of the American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental
Association, and American Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Gonzales enjoys working with children and has a special way
of making his patients feel comfortable. He is trained in treating
patients with special needs, performing interceptive orthodontics
and administering nitrous oxide sedation. In his free time,
Dr. Gonzales enjoys watching and playing sports; he enjoys
everything from basketball to football to soccer. When he’s not
working hard, Dr. Gonzales enjoys spending time with his family
in Texas and New Jersey.

Kristen Cordaro earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She continued her education by earning her Dental Hygiene license at Middlesex County College. Kristen returned to Roselle Park where she grew up, and began her career three years ago with Roselle Park Dental. Kristen brings a trusting, comfortable environment to our hygiene department by providing a gentle, but thorough cleaning each and every visit. She takes time to inform and educate every patient to the best of her ability, while taking the time to individualize each patients' needs. When not in the office, Kristen loves to spend time with her husband Nick and dog Bella.

Sanchia Jackson, Registered Dental Hygienist, earned her Dental Hygiene degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Sanchia is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys providing her patients with optimum total healthcare. Her focus is on early oral cancer detection and periodontal awareness and prevention. She keeps current by reading career journals and taking continuing education courses |
