What Happens When My Child Is Ready For Braces?
Dr. Sinha will conduct a thorough examination of your child’s existing smile, which will likely be accompanied by high-resolution X-rays and imaging. This will allow our team to make a confident diagnosis and create the most effective treatment plan possible.
In many cases, “fixed” braces are the recommended option. This service consists of brackets that are anchored to each tooth and wires that deliver gradual pressure to the rows of teeth to correct their positioning. After the braces are successfully attached, your son or daughter will need to attend regular appointments so that we can make adjustments and tighten the wires. Elastic bands will also be attached to accelerate the treatment process – and better yet, kids can select their favorite color!
